Two years tried-it-out and I am eating cupcakes.

 Hello my friend!

Two years ago I took the next step and started to use natural products in my bathroom. I was a bit afraid to loose all my great cosmetics. Who knew, that a different world of great skincare, make-up and brands opened its doors for me. Today I am incredibly happy that I did this step.

This article about changing was the beginning of this blog for me. I did write two or three articles about conventional stuff before, but except for the one about my face brush I deleted them soon. So it may be that tried-it-out was online some weeks before, but this is the moment that marks the beginning for me. The beginning of first steps in a new direction, exciting conversations in the comments and on social media and the moment I began to rethink.

Today I want to thank you, no matter if you were with this blog from 2013 on or just came across by chance. Thank you, for reading this text, thank you for joining my small journey to the great world of natural cosmetics. Thank you for making this blog to what it is.

To celebrate this day I eat a lot of cupcakes :D. And I want to share with you the recipe of my favorite ones! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! :)

Balsamic-chocolate-cheesecake cupcakes
For the chocolate dough
  1. 260g flour
  2. 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  3. 2 tablespoon of semolina
  4. 2 tablespoon of oatmeal
  5. 2-4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  6. 100g cane sugar (or sugar)
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 75g butter
  9. 200g chocolate (whole-milk or dark chocolate)
  10. 200ml milk
  11. 1 egg
  12. 2-4 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
For the cheesecake dough + Frosting
  1. 200g cream cheese
  2. 200g cottage cheese
  3. 100g sugar
  4. 2 tablespoon/sachet vanilla sugar
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 pinch of salt
Preparation of the chocolate dough
  1. Mix flour, Baking soda, Semolina, Oatmeal, Cocoa, sugar and salt in a bowl.. Melt butter and chocolate in a small bowl in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Mix the dry ingredients with milk and egg, butter and chocolate. Add 2-4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
Preparation of the cheese cake dough
  1. Mix half of the ingredients (except the egg) in a bowl and add the egg. First put some chocolate dough into the muffin cup and form a small hole with a teaspoon in the centre. then put some cheesecake dough in it. Bake the cupcakes at 180 degree about 20-30 minutes. (I am not that sure about the time, because we own a microwave oven, so the baking time is always a bit different. Just have a look, how the dough is. :)) Allow the Muffins to cool down and enjoy! They're also pretty tasty without frosting.
  2. Balsamico-Schoko-Cheesecake-Cupcake Cupcakehalbiert

  1. Den Rest der Käsekuchen-Zutaten (without egg) in a bowl, and fill a pastry bag or a freezer bag with it (simply cut a corner) and arrange it on the cupcakes.
  2. Frosting2Frosting
  3. You can decorate the frosting with colorful sprinkles, cookie crumbs or similar, this time I used "mimosa - multi colored mixed" by Biovegan. :)Geburtstags-Cupcake

  4. Enjoy!! :D

Lots of love,
