Eyeshadow Battle – Alverde VS. Sante!

My daily makeup I keep getting relatively simple, I prefer to use only brown hues, as they harmonize well with my eyes, and a red-rose-pink lipstick. Here I used a brown palette of Maybelline, after my conversion I have even two, the Eyeshadow Trio N.3 of Sante, and the Quattro Eyeshadow in Chocolate by Alverde. These two rather plain brown pallets are competing against each other today!

Alverde Quattro Eyeshadow ChocolateVS.Sante Eyeshadow Trio N.3 Rose Wood

Round 1 - Packaging:
The packaging of Alverde is designed rather simplistic. The applicator can be used on both sides.
The packaging of Sante is clearly noble. It also comprises a mirror. The brushes for the application does not fall out, because it is slightly larger than its square, which is both good though, on the other hand makes it more difficult the removal of the applicator very, but unfortunately is available only on one side. (Of course I forgot to take a picture again, Therefore, the product has been used in the picture ever -.- )
Both products are rather difficult to open.
Therefore, there is a 1 : 1, Sante scores with elegant packaging including. Mirror, Alverde with better brush.

Round 2 - The Price:
While the Quattro eyeshadow Alverde ~ 4,95 € you have to grab a bit deeper into their pockets for the Eyeshadow Trio of Sante: For this, you pay about 11,75 Euro im Online Shop.
Therefore 1 : 0 for Alverde.
Round 3 - Certification:
Both products are vegan. While the product of Sante owns the BDIH Seal scores Alverde with the NaTrue logo. Sante's eye shadow is additionally gluten free
Again, there is about a tie, I guess a little more the NaTrue logo, However Sante with a gluten-free product points
1 : 1
Round 4 - The colors:
Both pallets each containing a beige, a medium brown and a dark brown color. Alverde has another very dark brown color which is different from the other only by glistening light.
While the sounds of Sante are strong shimmer rather dull of Alverde.
Unfortunately, looks at swatches quite well, that the colors of Alverde are highly pigmented, but rather only slightly shimmering color of Sante. I therefore carry the weaker wet on so that they are more intense. In Alverde the colors are so well pigmented, that since I work in no case with a wet brush. Here I have a picture for you, how the palette changes when working with a wet brush. Does not look so beautiful, but actually works quite well, afterwards again the dry application.
While I find much better pigmentation in Alverde, I like shimmer in the eye shadow from the Sante, especially in the brightest sound very. There is less of a sparkle, but rather a pearly shimmer.
Unfortunately, this point is still, because of poorer color output, again Alverde.
1 : 0
Round 5 - The Application:

Again, there is in me a strong winner: Alverde. I find the eye shadow just much easier to apply. This can be seen quite well on the support image. It can be spread easily, beautiful blind and looks in my opinion a bit more natural and gentler. Here you can even see the result, the left eye is the Quattro eyeshadow Alverde, the rights with the Trio Eyeshadow Sante makeup. The poor distribution can be seen quite well. The right eye was painted wet for more intense color application.

Here again in direct comparison once the Alverde product and then once the Sante product dry, then applied wet.
Alverde

Sante dry (unfortunately a bit blurry and the color is weaker in real)

Sante wet

So here also a 1 : 0 for Alverde!

Conclusion ingredients:
Funnily enough, both products are very identical in terms of ingredients. This does not mean however,, that they are equal, as one can see very well in the pictures. The better spreadability of Alverde-product is perhaps on the substance contained maltodextrin, which is used exactly for. In addition, the order (So the amount contained) the ingredients so crucial for the texture and color.
Since both INCI lists are fine, there are a 1 : 1 !
General Conclusion
Alverde : 6
Sante : 3
Mich was the Quattro eyeshadow simply more convincing, since it can be spread better and more beautiful is to blind. However, I also appreciate the Trio Eyeshadow very, especially the bright tone and round my eye make-up of Alverde quite happy with it from, because the whole thing missed a slight sheen.
Of course, it is also always a matter of, what kind of eye shadow you prefer, whether you prefer a little glimmer preferred as a basis or a holistic makeup.
As a single vote would have for me the
Sante Eyeshadow Trio N.3 Rose Wood
O O O O O O O O O O
5 from 10 Points
achieved, the
Alverde Quattro Eyeshadow Chocolate
O O O O O O O O O O
10 from 10 Points.
Now I have written an incredible amount and probably forget half ^^
Do you also have a range of everyday? :D
Or are you more economical with eyeshadow?

  • A very nice and detailed battle. I don't know both eyeshadow palettes, think but, that I can make me a very good opinion due to your review. Way to go! :)

I use no eyeshadow frankly in everyday life. At the morning 6 Watch isn't me mostly to works of art. I'm saving it me for the days, where I extensively spend time in the bathroom, to get me ready ;)

    • Thank-You! :) Yes I have now so a basic get hang where it then not quite so looks like on the photos but still okay for everyday :) I'm usually then rather too lazy for an eyeliner because I'm an absolute perfectionist and woe is not exactly like I want it! ;)

      Liebe Grüße
      JUlia

    • Thank you :) I think it's also always interesting, that also cheaper brands in the natural cosmetics with the rather more expensive to keep! :)

  • Very nice comparison! Alverde often has a good qualification in the eyeshadow for the price, I especially love the baked!

    Liebe Grüße :)

  • I like your comparison! Alverde has clearly won for me, I like the matte look and the price just fit. ;)
I have not so many eye shadow, at the moment only of Alverde and Benecos. The Dr. Hauschka would also be interested in me eye shadow, but since I find the price relatively steep. At some point I'll give what times to me :D

    • Hey Amelie,

      Thank-You! :D
I have unfortunately still no eye shadow by Benecos, the new Terra Naturi have smiled at it me in the Miller and I'm going to get me soon maybe still a :)
And Hauschka's out of me like you, because the price is too great me at the moment, Maybe I will hit sometime but it ;)

      Liebe Grüße
      Julia :)
